Python Developer- Remote

SC Clearance Required Initial 3-month contract, with potential extension Hybrid working model with regular on-site attendance in Edinburgh (minimum 1-2 days per week). Key Skills & Experience Required Strong experience in Python development and simulation modelling, particularly with Sim Py or similar Discrete Event Simulation (DES) frameworks. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging AI-assisted development tools and vibe coding workflows such as Claude Code.

Excellent Python programming skills, with experience developing clean, maintainable, and production-ready code. Hands-on experience with Streamlit or comparable web application Front End frameworks. Experience containerising applications using Docker. Comfortable using Claude Code to accelerate software development while working with desensitised datasets
