Have significant practical experience in credit risk management within consumer or small business lending - experience in unsecured, revolving products would be particularly beneficial You are data driven, and comfortable defining and interpreting analysis to understand credit performance and trends. Being able to get hands-on with data is a plus - so experience in SQL, Python or similar is a bonus!

You understand how to balance risk and commercial outcomes, with experience in using scorecards and NPV models to develop strategies for making credit decisions Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills that can be flexed for different audiences, Are an effective leader and people manager, with the ability to build and nurture high performing teams Think strategically but are able to work in the detail with your team Have a track record of building and maintaining trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and can provide effective and respectful challenge Are passionate about technology, and what we’re doing here at Monzo excites you!

The interview process:
Our interview process usually involves up to four main stages via Google Hangouts:
An initial call with our recruiter A call with our Credit Risk Oversight Director, the hiring manager for the role A role-specific call with colleagues from 1st Line Credit A leadership and values call What’s in it for you £125,400 - £150,000  Incentive Awards tied to your performance This role can be based in our London office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc meetings in London, the team currently meet once per week).
