Senior QA Automation Analyst Remote

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver.
• Collaborate with team members to provide technical support and ensure test coverage.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, identify defects, and ensure software quality.
• Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks and processes.
• Design and execute performance tests to identify bottlenecks and meet performance benchmarks.
• Mentor and guide junior test automation engineers.
• Document test cases, results, and defects.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in test automation.
• Champion AI Adoption & Co‑Pilot Mastery – advocate for and lead use of TELUS Fueli
  
  X and other AI co‑pilot tools.
• Support development of new AI co‑pilots – contribute to ideation, design, and development as needed.
• Stay current on AI trends and innovations – monitor generative AI space and inform strategy and tooling decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–4 years of proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium Web Driver and related tools.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• Extensive experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming and hands‑on experience with JMeter or Load Runner.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical background with strong foundational skills (software development) for future transition into a full‑time AI/co‑pilot role.
• Hands‑on experience with AI productivity tools, co‑pilots, or generative AI platforms such as Fueli
  
  X, Git Hub Copilot, or ChatGPT.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (Jenkins, Git).
• Experience with other test automation tools (Appium).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
• Experience with cloud‑based testing environments.

Base Salary Range: 58,100.00 – 83,000.00 –  CAD Annual. Advanced knowledge of English is required because the role involves frequent interaction in English with internal parties and use of English‑only tools.
