Position: Node.js Developer - Remote (Northern Ireland only)

Job Description My client, an innovative software company specialising in collaborative digital platforms, is hiring a Node.js Developer to join an existing remote-first engineering team based in Northern Ireland. The company is passionate about building high-quality software using modern technologies and realtime collaboration concepts. As a Node.js Developer, you will work across the full stack with a strong focus on backend/server-side development.

You will design and develop scalable APIs and services, contribute to frontend functionality using React and and help shape the architecture of a modern collaborative platform. The role involves ownership of features from design through deployment, working closely with senior engineers and company leadership to solve challenging technical problems.

The Person
* Commercial experience with Node.js and JavaScript/Type Script  
* Experience building modern web applications using or similar frameworks
* Experience developing RESTful or Graph

QL APIs
* Strong SQL database experience such as PostgreSQL
* Familiarity with and modern frontend architecture
* Experience writing automated tests and maintaining code quality
* Exposure to cloud platforms and serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda
* Interest or experience in realtime collaboration systems or distributed systems concepts
