Full Stack Software Engineer

Viroteq is a young knowledge intensive company originated and located in Almere/Abcoude. We develop, build, test and support easily accessible software for robotic packing and stacking within the logistic industry. Our goal is to make industrial robots able to replicate the human flexibility in packing and stacking tasks for processes that change constantly. To reach this goal we deliver the advanced vision, artificial intelligence and control algorithms needed to make these solutions highly intelligent.

• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end software applications to support industrial automation and robotics projects.
• Design and implement robust software architectures that enhance the efficiency and reliability of automated systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including robotic integrators and engineers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Integrate and troubleshoot software with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other industrial hardware components.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in industrial automation, and continuously improve software development practices by exploring new programming languages and tools.

• You have a Bachelor degree (HBO) in a relevant discipline.
• You are experienced in designing and developing in .NET (Core) using C#.
• You have experience in working with software development patterns.
• You are eager to work on highly-complex AI projects.
• Experience with software development in C++, Python is a big plus.
• Experience in React/Angular/Vue, Docker, AWS, Azure, Git, ASP.NET is a plus.
• Experience with robot systems is a plus.
• Experience with vision systems (OpenCV, Halcon) is a plus.
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• You live Mid-Netherlands, preferably near Amsterdam.
• You have a driver’s license.
• Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus.
