York is hiring an iSeries COBOL Developer for remote work, focusing on RPG programming to enhance pharmacy claims systems. Help improve processes and manage critical data applications.
As a key contributor, you'll develop custom RPG and COBOL conversion programs that manage historical pharmacy claims data and Prior Authorization processes. The role involves ongoing support for data workflows and troubleshooting existing applications to ensure smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop RPG and COBOL conversion programs
• Support and implement Prior Authorization data extraction processes
• Troubleshoot issues in data pipelines and applications
• Collaborate to gather requirements for process enhancement
• Update technical documents on workflows and logic
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in RPG and COBOL on IBM i environment
• Background in data conversion and batch processing
• Effective in testing and deploying programs
• Strong detail-oriented problem-solving abilities
• Preference for experience with healthcare or insurance data
