Front End Software Developer

Position: Front End Software Developer - Hybrid Role
Join as a Senior Front End Software Developer for a 6-month hybrid contract. Bring your expertise in modern frameworks, HTML5, and CSS3 to Metro Hall while working remotely and onsite.

This role is ideal for seasoned developers with over 10 years in creating Single Page Applications. You will focus on secure integration and compliance with accessibility standards while working independently. Managing architecture documents and supporting QA efforts are key aspects of this role to enhance City application processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software components for the Special Events application

• Document technical specifications and user guides

• Conduct thorough testing to ensure reliability

• Analyze test results and prepare management reports

• Assist in integrating multiple sub-forms into the main application

Requirements:

• 10+ years in Single Page Application development

• Strong experience with API integration and authentication

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, AODA)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Relevant degree in computer science or a related field
