Position: Remote Gameplay Engineer at Escape Velocity
Escape Velocity seeks a Remote Gameplay Engineer to innovate gameplay experiences and own major features with a focus on C/C++ development. Collaborate closely with diverse teams and enhance the game design process.

In this role, you'll contribute to creating gameplay systems while leveraging your skills in Unreal Engine 4/5. You’ll develop and optimize gameplay software, participate in code reviews, and document features for internal and external use. Your ideas will significantly shape gameplay experiences and contribute to overall game quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop gameplay systems using C/C++

• Modify and debug gameplay software on PC

• Collaborate with art, audio, and QA departments

• Document all gameplay features for teams

• Engage in the code review process to ensure quality

Requirements:

• Proven experience in game development and AAA titles

• Strong C++ skills and gameplay architecture understanding
