Job Title:
Software Quality Specialist IV

Duration: 12 months

Location:
Toronto, ON (2 days on site, 3 days work from home – could potentially move to 4 days in office)

Schedule: M-F, core business hours – 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (asset)
• Certifications:
  
  Java programming, Selenium, and Appium
• 8+ years of overall experience
• Performance measured by hitting timelines/deliverables (SLAs) and quality of code

• Day‑to‑day responsibilities include test creation and process support, automating tests, and enhancing automation frameworks.
• Meetings: 1–2 hours per day on average.
• Internal client interactions; no access to customer data.

Mobile and Online technology testing

• Perform hands‑on testing activities: test creation, automation, and framework development within a functional area to support delivery of quality solutions.

• Primarily on site at the client’s location for meetings, team events, and experiences.

• 8+ years of experience developing with Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self‑motivated, well organized, able to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail, self‑starter, adaptable

• Java programming, Selenium, and Appium certifications
• Experience in banking or financial institutions
• Hands‑on Appium experience
