Location: City of Westminster
Work Model and Location
We have an office in Uxbridge (West London) and fully embrace a hybrid home/office working model, with an aim for 2 days in the office.
Responsibilities- Analyze, develop, and maintain software for the organization's products and systems.
- Familiarize with or demonstrate interest in engineering patterns and best practices.
- Develop, validate, and test code; build maintainable applications and debug issues.
- Implement state management patterns and API integrations to support a scaling ecosystem.
- Apply basic CI/CD principles and deployment practices, using Git.
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver solutions and gather information or requirements.
- Test code thoroughly and review by peers.
- Investigate problems to identify root causes and find effective solutions.
- Prioritize work effectively and flexibly explore new areas of the codebase.
- Maintain resilience, scalability, and reliability of systems.
- Support remote collaboration; work part‑time remotely if necessary.
- 1–3 years of software engineering experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Type Script.
- Experience with modern front‑end frameworks (Vue3, React, Angular, etc.) is preferred.
- Understanding of application state patterns and data flows (e.g., Pinia, Vuex, Redux) and reactivity/observables.
- Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs and Web Sockets.
- Solid understanding of web development principles.
- Good foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and improve the codebase through patterns, libraries, and code reviews.
- Ability to see long‑term implications of technical decisions.
