Remote Lead QA Engineer

Salary: £60, per year

• Experience in data warehouse testing, including ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration.
• Strong data quality testing expertise.
• Proven ability to define and implement testing strategies tailored to data warehouse products, including manual and automated testing approaches.
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and data quality checks across multiple stages of the data pipeline.
• Experience building and maintaining test harnesses using tools like dbt (Data Build Tool) for automating data validation across ETL processes and ensuring test integration with CI/CD pipelines is a nice to have.

• Lead testing efforts within an Agile team to ensure the quality of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Define test strategies and align testing with business goals.
• Mentor a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders.
• Perform hands‑on data validation.
• Develop and maintain test automation.
• Carry out performance testing.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing frameworks.
