Software Engineering Team Lead; PHP

, you’ll play a key role in shaping the technology that powers safe, accessible, and reliable financial services. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in office once a week.

As a Team Lead, you will combine strong technical expertise with people leadership to drive both delivery and team growth:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration
• Own the delivery of key products and features, ensuring quality, scalability, and reliability
• Guide the team in building robust, modern systems using microservices architecture and best engineering practices
• Drive continuous improvement by refining development processes and introducing efficiencies
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Dev Ops, and other teams to deliver meaningful solutions
• Influence and align multiple teams towards shared goals and outcomes
• Support team development through feedback, coaching, and performance conversations

You’re a strong technical leader with a passion for building both products and people:

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Engineering Team Lead
• Solid expertise in PHP
  , Symfony (or similar), and modern software architecture
• Strong understanding of microservices, domain-driven design, and scalable system design
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Git-based version control (Git Hub, Git Lab, etc.)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivery and quality

• Experience collaborating across Dev Ops, QA, and product teams
• Ability to influence decisions across multiple teams
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices
