At Grafana, we are seeking a talented Staff Backend Engineer to enhance our Application Core Services team. You will collaborate with various squads to maintain critical systems, including the billing engine and provisioning automation. This position will involve designing reconciliation systems and improving operational efficiency while working closely with product, infrastructure, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and operate backend reconciliation systems for stack management

• Collaborate on stack lifecycle workflows across multiple platforms

• Improve deployment complexities and support cluster rollouts

• Develop effective incident response strategies for stack issues

• Lead projects and coordinate across service areas for optimal solutions

Requirements:

• Professional experience with Golang and backend service development

• Strong Kubernetes expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience in mentoring junior engineers remotely

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform

• At least 1 year of fully remote work experience
