Graduate Frontend Developer

The role
We are looking for a Graduate Frontend Developer to support our technical efforts on a project for a prominent South African financial services provider. This position exists to bridge the gap between our consulting findings and the digital tools used to present them. You will focus on building and maintaining web interfaces that allow our clients to interact with complex data regarding their internal governance and operational structures.

This is a fully remote role that requires a high degree of precision and a clear, logical approach to coding.

What you will do

• Develop responsive and functional user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks to support our consulting engagements.
• Translate structural diagrams and organizational data into clear, interactive web components.
• Collaborate with our consultants to ensure that data visualizations accurately reflect the reality of client decision rights and accountability.
• Write clean, maintainable code and provide thorough documentation for every feature you build.
• Participate in peer reviews to maintain high quality standards and ensure technical alignment with project goals.
• Perform testing across different browsers and devices to find and resolve frontend issues.
• Assist in the maintenance of internal styling libraries to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Contribute to technical discussions about the most effective ways to present evidence-backed results to client leadership.

What we are looking for

• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, typically acquired through a recent degree or comprehensive personal projects.
• Basic familiarity with React or a similar component-based library.
