Be part of a transformative team at Manulife as a Senior Mobile Engineer in a hybrid capacity. Design and deliver mobile solutions that impact the Retirement sector.
This role focuses on both mobile and backend development using technologies such as React Native, Node.js, and Type Script. You will engage with various teams to develop accessible applications and contribute to architectural frameworks that enhance user experiences.
Your role will involve solving complex problems through clean coding and architecture reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain full-stack mobile applications
• Enhance system architecture through API design
• Write clean Type Script for mobile and backend
• Implement performance monitoring with New Relic
• Provide mentorship through knowledge sharing and code reviews
Requirements:
• Over 5 years in software engineering
• Strong expertise in Type Script, React Native, and Expo
• Backend development knowledge with Node.js
• Familiarity with Redis and Azure cloud services
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions
Utilize your skills in Type Script and React Native to lead development efforts at Manulife, impacting customers' Retirement experiences.
