Position: Senior Engineer for Agent Systems Development
Workday is seeking a Senior Engineer for Agent Systems Development in Vancouver, BC. Bring your extensive experience in software engineering and Machine Learning to a pioneering team.

In this senior role, you will drive the development of advanced agentic capabilities for the Workday Data Cloud. You will be responsible for creating robust software architectures and ensuring that they meet functional and quality requirements. Collaborate with peers and mentor junior engineers while contributing to a flexible work model that includes both in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering development for agentic capabilities

• Architect solutions for federated data interactions

• Develop and optimize APIs and MCP server frameworks

• Collaborate on project timelines and deliverables

• Coach junior engineers on best practices and development life cycles

Requirements:

• 8+ years in software development with a focus on ML systems

• 5+ years delivering machine learning solutions

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Experience with Scala, Python, and Py Torch

• Strong understanding of design principles in scalable architectures
