Java Developer Kafka API - Tech Consultancy

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

• Java development skills including multi-threading and concurrency
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices environments
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging tools
• Good knowledge of REST APIs
• Good understanding of AWS
• Thorough understanding of software development and computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns
• Familiarity with Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborative approach, with enjoyment of problem solving and client interaction

• Design, develop, and deliver a range of transformational projects for our clients, mainly within the financial services sector
• Focus on Kafka messaging, migrating legacy systems to AWS, and introducing CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
• Work within a collaborative team with a focus on engineering best practice and continuous improvement of client systems
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, with regular business and client exposure
• Contribute to continual learning and development within our team
