Position: Cloud Engineer (Backend Development) - TK

Hybrid work mode (2 days work from home)
Working location:
Central area (9 am to 6 pm)

The Cloud Engineer (Backend Development) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and backend services, contributing to architecture decisions with senior engineers. This is a hands‑on cloud/backend role supporting our telematics data platform — you’ll work across infrastructure, data pipelines, and integration APIs.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and collaborative, with strong ownership and a practical approach to solving production problems.

Job Responsibilities

Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for our telematics analytics platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
Develop and optimize Python services, SQL schemas, and data workflows
Implement security, monitoring, and cost controls following team standards
Build & maintain APIs/SDKs that enable secure client integration with our platform
Collaborate with data, product and business teams to develop innovative cloud solutions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field
2–3 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Backend Development, or Data/Platform engineering.
Minimally 2 years of experience in Python
Minimally 1-2 years of hands‑on experience building and maintaining AWS services in production
Strong understanding of database schema design and SQL querying
Experience with Git/Git Lab and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of AWS Cloud principles and the well-architected framework.

Lambda, RDS, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, Cloud Formation, Cloud Front, VPC, Cloud Watch, SNS/Eventbridge
Additional

Skills:

AWS Cloud Security, Git Lab, Git

Preferred

AWS certifications are a plus
Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications is a plus
Experience building dashboards, internal tools, or web-based data visualization interfaces is a plus
Knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Analytics concepts is a plus
