Azure, Backend Developer, .NET Developer
We are currently looking for an Integrations Developer to join our IT and Digital team. We prioritise IT development to ensure that our technological solutions promote the industry in efficiency, security, and user experience. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from developing tools for Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and Azure Functions, operating within an Agile Dev Ops framework, to maintaining precise technical documentation and ensuring effective integration and monitoring of applications.
Primaryresponsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable data integrations within the Azure Cloud platform
- Design and implement tools to subscribe to and publish from Azure Service Bus messaging entities, APIs, and SQL databases
- Deploy well‑tested code that meets acceptance criteria within an Agile Dev Ops environment
- Adhere to SOLID coding practices and apply Test‑Driven Development through unit and integration testing
- Perform integration of applications both on‑premises, private and public cloud infrastructures
- Implement observability and monitoring into solutions to ensure real‑time visibility of system performance
- Collaborate effectively with the wider technical team to design and implement reusable code
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL
- Broad understanding of technological innovations relating to BI and analytics
- Capable of creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation
- Experience integrating applications both on‑premises and cloud‑based
- Experience with C# and Python is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Basic understanding of financial processes and terminology is beneficial
- Certification in Azure or TOGAF is desirable
- Salary range of £35k to £45k (pending experience)
- 23.5 days holiday (plus bank holidays), rising to 24.5 days after 12 months of service

Our hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8.45am – 5.30pm. Our office is based in Manchester City Centre, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days office and 2 days working from home (UK).
