UI Frontend Developer

Position: UI Frontend Developer with Larus
Become a key player at Larus Technologies as a UI Frontend Developer. Design impactful interfaces for military decision-makers using React and Type Script in a flexible work environment.

This full-time role is based in Ottawa with options for hybrid or remote work. You will construct advanced interactive applications and influence technical direction while mentoring junior developers. Your expertise in frontend architecture and design will drive critical tools in the defence sector, focusing on usability and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and design user flows from experts

• Architect and build complex React/Type Script applications

• Create and manage a custom design system

• Conduct user studies and iterate designs based on feedback

• Write tests at every level and participate in code reviews

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of frontend development experience

• Strong React and Type Script proficiency

• Experience with state management and API integration

• Ability to obtain Canadian Government security clearance
