Position: Senior QA Engineer in Hybrid Role

Match Box is urgently seeking a Senior QA Engineer for an 8-month contract with a client in Burnaby. In this position, you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality application delivery. Your focus will be on establishing testing strategies, optimizing automation frameworks, and transitioning smoothly through complex testing phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive QA strategies and test plans

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases

• Create reusable automated testing frameworks with Java and Selenium

• Identify and document software defects thoroughly

• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and recommend best practices

Requirements:

• 7+ years in Software Quality Assurance

• 5+ years developing automated testing frameworks

• Proficiency with Java, Selenium, and TestNG

• Experience with SQL and RESTful API testing

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
