Be a part of Affirm's innovative credit vision as a Backend Software Engineer II. This remote role involves building and managing the infrastructure behind the Affirm Card and its transactions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support card issuance and transaction processing systems. Candidates should have at least 1.5 years of backend experience and a strong grasp of Python or Kotlin, alongside AWS and Kubernetes technologies. You will play a crucial role in the ongoing development and operational success of Affirm's payment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Breakdown projects into smaller tasks for timely delivery
• Collaborate with product management and design teams
• Create and monitor operational metrics for system performance

Requirements:
• 1.5+ years of experience in software engineering
