Engineering Intern
- Data & AI Automation

We are currently looking for an Engineering Intern
- Data & AI Automation to join our Technology organization in Mexico. In this full-time internship, you will play a critical role in supporting our data migration strategy. You will analyze how data is extracted from competitor systems, leverage state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and structure technical documentation, and help streamline the transition of clients to our industry-leading applications.

the Role

In this opportunity as an Engineering Intern
- Data & AI Automation, you will:

Assisting in daily operations and projects within the Product Engineering area.

Supporting data analysis, reporting, and documentation tasks.

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables. Researching and preparing presentations or reports as needed.

Contributing ideas to improve processes and enhance team efficiency.

  • Collect, map, and analyze data schemas and process flows required to convert data from competitor applications into our software suites.
  • Utilize Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to automatically generate, refine, and maintain high‑quality technical documentation of competitor processes.
  • Collaborate closely with senior software engineers and data specialists to understand technical requirements and system architectures.
  • Perform data exploration and profiling to identify patterns, mapping rules, and potential transformation bottlenecks.
  • Verify the accuracy of LLM‑generated documentation against actual database structures and codebases.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and reviews) to share progress and learn best practices in software engineering.
About You

You’re a fit for this role if your background includes:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business or a closely related technical field (with at least 1 year remaining before graduation).
  • Strong interest in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini APIs).
  • Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Python) for basic data parsing or automation scripting.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and structured documentation skills.
  • Advanced intermediate to fluent English communication skills (written and verbal), as you will work with global teams.
  • Ability to work full‑time (40 hours per week).
  • Ability to work on a hybrid model
    , attending the office twice a week.
  • A proactive attitude, strong curiosity, and an eagerness to learn modern engineering workflows. Understanding and development of solutions to foster data lifecycle management.
  • Accountability for the successful execution of technology projects including support and maintenance releases, minor functional releases and major product.
  • Agile philosophy and scrum knowledge is a plus.
