Overview
Pay Fit is a cloud-based payroll and employee management solution for SMBs. This role is based in London with some flexibility to work remotely a few days per week. The Product Builder will shape, enhance, and evolve the product offering for the UK market, focusing on understanding customer needs, crafting intuitive user experiences, and building features to drive growth.
Key responsibilities- Product Development:
Build and develop the product for UK users with our low-code platform (Jet Lang). - Design the most efficient and intuitive user experience for customers.
- Update the product in line with changes in UK payroll law.
- Technical Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot the platform by managing the links between variables that drive the system's intelligence. - Clean, optimize, and revamp the codebase to support technical transformation.
- Collaborate on solution design (prototypes and architecture) with product designers and engineers.
- Work with local UK teams (Customer Success, Onboarding, Sales, Marketing) and international teams.
- Engineering background with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a product-technical role.
- Enthusiasm for product management, design, and development; intent to grow into a hands-on Product Owner.
- Passion for building apps with strong UX for customers.
- Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, and ability to develop smart solutions.
- Positive, entrepreneurial, creative, and intellectually curious mindset; collaborative team player.
- Fluent English (Spanish is a plus).
- Collaborate with a Product Lead and other Product Builders; work with UK and international teams.
- Interview process: discovery call, online low-code preliminary test, technical challenge, final interview with Product Lead.
- Background check after offer as per ISO
27001 standards.
