Interview and Onboarding Requirements

Candidates must be available for an in‑person final interview onsite if selected. Successful candidate must be available for initial 30‑day immersion onboarding in person onsite if selected.

As a Software Engineering Co‑op at Aquatic Informatics, you will be an integral member of our engineering team. The position is part of the AQUARIUS software development team located in Vancouver, BC and will be either hybrid or fully remote based on your location.

• Participate in the full development cycle of features including design, requirements gathering, implementation and testing.
• Contribute to investigating and debugging customer‑reported issues.
• Work in a Scrum agile environment and participate in regular sprint meetings.
• Gain exposure to how software applications are built and deployed to many customers across the world.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary institution, 3rd or 4th year.
• Experience with at least one object‑oriented programming language.
• Completed one or more previous co‑op terms.
• Passionate about full‑stack engineering and constantly seeking new ways to do things.

Pay is anticipated to be between $5,000 and $5,400 CAD per month for the duration of the temporary co‑op position.
