This role combines hands‑on software engineering with active participation in solution design, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver value, uphold engineering excellence, and help shape future‑ready digital capabilities, while embracing innovation, AI‑enabled ways of working, and a culture of continuous learning.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

• Perform hands‑on development using the latest versions of .NET, C#, and frontend technologies including React and Type Script.
• Build full‑stack solutions, integrating React/Type Script user interfaces with .NET backend APIs.
• Apply strong expertise in Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, SOLID principles, and architectural patterns.
• Contribute to the development of high‑volume, high‑availability enterprise‑scale applications.
• Work within Agile delivery methodologies, ideally with experience in SCRUM.
• Design, optimise, and maintain database systems, with strong understanding of relational database design.
• Implement Test‑Driven Development (TDD), write robust unit tests, and support Continuous Integration pipelines.
• Leverage CI/CD and automation tools to ensure high‑quality, frequent releases.
• Critically analyse system designs and provide constructive feedback to improve performance and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews focusing on maintainability, scalability, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Maintain strong understanding of unit testing, design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.

Proficiency in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET

Strong experience with React.js, Type Script, and modern JavaScript/Type Script development practices

Ability to build and maintain scalable front‑end applications using React and Type Script

Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and system integration

Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and architecture

Practical knowledge of SQL, database architecture, and relational database design

Familiarity with Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools

Experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit

Understanding of cloud and containerization technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes

Strong expertise with Git for version control

• Experience with React.js, Type Script, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS3, Redux, or Context API.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and REST API development.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices including Terraform.
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Gradle, Sonar Qube, JIRA, Splunk, or App Dynamics.
• Knowledge of event‑driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Exposure to API Gateway and Service Mesh technologies.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and application modernisation initiatives.
• Experience with in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
