Join Grafana's Application Core Services as a Staff Backend Engineer focused on scalable solutions and cloud integrations. This remote role is pivotal to maintaining system reliability for our Grafana Cloud services.

We are looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to work at the heart of Grafana's Application Core Services team. You will lead initiatives to enhance system design and operational workflows while working with various squads on projects related to stacking and customer lifecycle management. As part of a tight-knit team, you will drive best practices in software development and incident response protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reconciliation systems for stack states

• Ensure effective collaboration for stack lifecycle management

• Streamline complex deployments and reduce operational friction

• Support new region rollouts and cloud infrastructure alignment

• Champion incident response and recovery strategies

Requirements:

• Professional Golang experience at a backend level

• Strong Kubernetes knowledge in major cloud services

• Remote work experience and mentoring capabilities

• Understanding of deployment tools like Terraform or Argo

• Experience handling SaaS platform challenges
