Cogency Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a significant SAP transformation initiative for a leading financial services client. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of SAP ABAP experience, emphasizing Object-Oriented ABAP, BRF+, and REST API development. This role requires strong analytical skills to perform impact assessments and solution prototyping within complex banking environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom SAP applications with Advanced ABAP

• Create enterprise integrations with REST APIs and OData Services

• Conduct impact assessments and prototype solutions

• Optimize ABAP programs for performance and scalability

• Document technical specifications and API details

Requirements:

• 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience

• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP and BRF+

• Proficiency in SAP PI/PO and REST APIs

• Experience in banking or financial sectors preferred
