Contract Senior C# Developer – Lead Developer – 80/20 split, ASP.Net, MVC, C#, WEB API, SQL Server, UI, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Cloud, Azure, Mobile – 450-500 a day (outside IR35) – East Midlands.

Global Engineering firm is looking for a Contract Senior Developer / Lead Developer to serve as the sole developer and then grow a team. This is a 6‑month contract with a view to becoming permanent.

Key questions:

• Are you passionate about software development? – WEB API, ASP.Net, C# MVC, Cloud, Azure, Mobile.
• As a Tech Lead / Senior Developer, can you influence future technology development?
• Do you have team leader or management experience?

Reporting into the CEO, the role involves taking the current desktop solution into a web‑based cloud product. The position will be an 80/20 split in favour of development.

Previous experience building teams, recruitment, and line management is preferred.

This role can grow into a Chief Architect position and beyond.
