At Blackbird Interactive, you’ll be part of a high-performing team in a creative, independent game studio. This role requires expertise in technical art, along with a collaborative spirit to connect Artists and Engineers. You will mentor others while leading projects from conception through to release, focusing heavily on high-quality visual solutions within technical limitations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist artists with best practices and tool creation

• Define optimization strategies for maintaining performance targets

• Bridge communication between Art and Engineering teams

• Generate documentation for production and tools

• Collaborate on lighting integration and optimization

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience as a Technical Artist

• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5

• Understanding of shader development and asset management

• Some proficiency in C++ or C#

• Experience with Maya and lighting integration
