Senior Software Developer Remote at Really Great Reading

Make a difference in literacy with Really Great Reading as a Senior Software Developer. You'll contribute to our mission through continuous development of our current application in a fully remote setting.

As a key member of our agile team, you'll take ownership of building and maintaining features using Django/Python and React/Type Script. You'll collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and assist with incident resolution, ensuring high performance and security for our application. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize existing features on the stack

• Ensure application performance and security during platform transition

• Participate in peer code reviews for quality assurance

• Document legacy systems and workflows for knowledge sharing

• Contribute high-quality code to new platform initiatives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience

• Strong skills in Python, Django, React, and Type Script

• Experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs

• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

• Excellent written communication in a remote work setting
