About us

One Click Comply  is a compliance platform built in Sunderland. We take the work that normally eats weeks out of an SME's year, getting ready for Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and the rest, and automate most of it.

The team is around 12 people today and growing quickly. Engineering is small and ships fast, so you'd be the person who owns quality across the whole product rather than one corner of it. A lot of what we build is agentic, which makes testing it a genuinely different problem to the one most QA engineers are used to.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years in QA, across both manual and automated testing
• Strong Python and JavaScript, with hands on Playwright experience building and maintaining GUI automation frameworks from scratch
• API testing
• Real depth in GUI and UI/UX testing: cross browser compatibility, responsiveness and visual consistency
• A track record of planning, writing and running full regression suites
• The ability to take functional requirements, turn them into structured test cases, and manage the bug lifecycle properly
• Git, branch management and PR based workflows for test code
• Experience testing AI and agentic features. Evaluating LLM output for correctness and consistency, regression testing prompts, spotting hallucination and drift, and reasoning about behaviour that isn't deterministic. Using AI tools to write your tests is not the same thing and won't cover this
• The ability to own quality for a feature end to end, from sprint refinement through to post deployment validation

Nice to have

• Agentic coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code to move faster on test development
• Playwright suites wired into CI/CD, whether that's Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI or similar
• Python test runners and reporting such as pytest and Allure, or the JS equivalents like Vitest
• Postgres and SQL for backend data validation during testing
• A basic grasp of performance and load testing
