Full Stack Engineer Remote

DISCLAIMER: This position requires relocation to Toronto in the future. It will be remote for a period of time until there are new offices opened in Toronto.

I'm working with a YC-backed startup building the operating system for creator commerce. Their platform helps brands and creators manage and scale social commerce programs across channels like Tik Tok Shop, with plans to become the infrastructure layer powering creator marketing across all major commerce platforms. They're already working with major consumer brands and are scaling rapidly.

This Senior Full Stack Engineer will own product development end-to-end while helping define engineering standards in an AI-native development environment.

• Own features from ideation, design, and implementation through to launch
• Build and scale backend systems, APIs, and data infrastructure using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and GCP
• Develop polished, high-performance user experiences using React, Type Script, and modern frontend tooling
• Lead architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices across the stack
• Work directly with customers to translate ambiguous requirements into product solutions
• Mentor engineers on AI-native development workflows and agentic coding practices
• Drive engineering velocity through effective use of AI-assisted development tools
• Ship quickly in a highly iterative, product-focused environment

2–6 years of full-stack engineering experience with strong ownership of products or major features. Strong experience across frontend and backend development, including Python, React, Type Script, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Candidates should have exceptional product instincts and be comfortable operating in ambiguity. Deep experience with AI-assisted development tools—particularly Claude Code, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and AI-driven software development is a core requirement.
