Principal DevOps Engineer Hybrid Role

Elevate your career as a Principal Dev Ops Engineer with a focus on automation migration at our Toronto office. Lead initiatives in CI/CD for reliable and compliance-driven deployments.
This hybrid contract role spans five months, with candidates expected to work in-house three days a week. You will bridge development and operations by migrating automation from IBM Urban Code Deploy to Octopus Deploy, optimizing existing scripts, and enhancing our CI/CD capabilities. Collaborate across teams while upholding enterprise Dev Ops standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design features for Helios CI/CD pipeline across platforms

• Migrate CI/CD pipelines from IBM Urban Code Deploy to Octopus Deploy

• Analyze and refactor existing UCD scripts for Octopus

• Develop and optimize deployment automation using C# and modern practices

• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and release issues
Requirements:

• 7+ years of development experience in Dev Ops

• Experience with IBM Urban Code Deploy and Octopus Deploy migrations

• Proficient in Groovy and C# scripting

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code principles

• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Github, and AWS
