AI Application Architect CPT​/JHB

As an AI Applications Architect, you will be the hand-on builder driving our AI platform vision across Europe and Africa. Sitting within the Product Design team, you’ll design, prototype, and ship real, full-stack AI capabilities- mentoring delivery teams through working software, spikes, and reference implementations rather than slide decks

• AI & LLM Frameworks:
  Hands-on experience with LLMs/foundation models, including RAG, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, function calling, and evaluation harnesses.
• Architecture & Security:
  Solid understanding of API design, scalability, and privacy-first data security (POPIA / GDPR).

• Front-End & Ecosystem:
  Angular experience (aligned with the core platform).
• AI Tooling:
  Anthropic stack expertise (Claude API, Anthropic Agent platform).
• Backend Integration:
  Exposure to .NET/C#, SQL Server, and Open Telemetry (OTel) observability.

• Own the AI Stack:
  Architect, prototype, and ship full-stack AI features, establishing reusable platform primitives like gateways, tracing, and evaluation suites.
• Empower the Team:
  Elevate engineering capabilities across C#, Angular, and Type Script through pairing, starter kits, and active code reviews.
• Set Pragmatic Direction:
  Evaluate emerging models, conduct cost-aware proofs of value, and align AI capabilities with our core platform roadmap.
