We are on the lookout for a capable Ruby on Rails Developer to enhance a major client’s platform. Based in Toronto, BIMM is pioneering high-performance campaigns through data and technology. In this role, you will contribute to both feature development and significant integrations that support an expansive Rails application, focusing on security and performance under load.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extend and improve features in a Rails monolith

• Implement front-end behaviors using Hotwire

• Design a robust content management system

• Build resilient third-party API integrations

• Conduct performance optimizations for high traffic

Requirements:

• 5+ years building Ruby on Rails applications

• Familiar with Hotwire for interactive features

• Strong PostgreSQL background and optimization skills

• Experience designing background jobs with Sidekiq

• Proficient in automated testing techniques
