Senior Remote Project Manager - Software Development

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead diverse software development projects, operating in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role will involve managing the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and planning to execution, testing, and deployment. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, fostering collaboration among distributed teams and driving the successful launch of innovative software solutions.

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software development projects concurrently.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineering leads.
• Lead and motivate geographically dispersed development teams, ensuring clear communication and adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress, milestones, and budget, providing regular, detailed status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in a remote setting.

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in project management , specifically within software development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex software projects using Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure Dev Ops.
