Senior Rust Engineers

Working pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day WFH

We’re looking for Senior Rust Engineers to join a high-performing engineering team working on technically challenging, high-impact systems.

This is an opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving hard problems, working close to the metal, and building software where performance, reliability and correctness genuinely matter
.

• Design and build high-performance systems in Rust
• Own projects end-to-end, from architecture and technical design through to production
• Solve complex problems across performance, concurrency, distributed systems and reliability
• Work closely with other senior engineers to establish technical direction
• Profile, benchmark and optimise systems at scale
• Contribute to engineering standards, architecture and best practices
• Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the team

• Strong professional experience with Rust
• Excellent fundamentals in systems programming and software engineering
• Deep understanding of concurrency, memory management and performance
• Experience building and operating production systems at scale
• Strong knowledge of Linux and modern development tooling
• Ability to reason about complex technical problems and make pragmatic engineering decisions
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

Experience with
distributed systems, networking, low-latency systems, databases, infrastructure or high-performance computing would be particularly valuable.
