Senior Blockchain Engineer; Backend

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing innovator in the Crypto & Blockchain space, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Blockchain Engineer (Backend) to join their fully remote engineering team. This role is central to developing and scaling the core infrastructure that powers our decentralized products and services. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing high-performance backend systems, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our blockchain integrations.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems for blockchain applications.
• Write efficient, secure, and well-tested code using languages such as Go, Rust, or Python.
• Develop and integrate APIs for seamless interaction between backend services and blockchain networks .
• Implement and optimize smart contracts and their deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, with a significant focus on blockchain technologies.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Go, Rust, Node.js).
• Deep understanding of distributed ledger technology , consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles.
• Experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working in a remote, agile environment.
