About the Role
Our client, an innovative automotive technology company, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Automotive Quality Assurance Tester to join their expanding team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive software and hardware components, developing and executing test plans, and identifying defects. This fully remote position allows you to contribute to cutting-edge automotive advancements from the comfort of your home office.
You will work closely with development teams to ensure that our client's products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and user experience, playing a critical role in delivering exceptional automotive solutions.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for automotive software and embedded systems.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues through to resolution.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with software developers and engineers to understand product specifications and resolve issues.
- Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency where applicable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance and testing, with a focus on software or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and its specific quality requirements is highly advantageous.
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork .
