Remote Senior Project Manager - Software Development

About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Remote Senior Project Manager to lead their Software Development projects. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for managing the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products, and collaborating effectively with globally distributed teams. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of agile methodologies to drive innovation and project success in a virtual setting.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software development projects simultaneously.
• Define project scope, objectives, technical requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with product owners and engineering teams.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks using agile and scrum methodologies.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for development teams.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication channels are maintained across all remote team members and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement within the development process, identifying and implementing best practices.

• Over 6 years of experience in project management, specifically within software development environments.
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various technology stacks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage complex, distributed teams and deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
