About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Senior AI Engineer with a specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join their distributed engineering team. This role is focused on building sophisticated NLP models and systems that enable intelligent text analysis, understanding, and generation. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, leverage cutting‑edge NLP techniques, and deploy solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business value.

As a senior member, you will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions within a fully remote setting.

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced NLP models for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, machine translation, and summarization.
• Process and manage large text datasets, ensuring quality and relevance for model training.
• Implement and fine‑tune pre‑trained language models (e.g., BERT, GPT variants).
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate NLP capabilities into applications and services.
• Optimize NLP models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in NLP and machine learning.

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong focus on NLP.
• Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Expertise with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensor Flow.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their application.
• Solid understanding of linguistic principles and text data processing.
