About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Software Developer specializing in Python to join their expanding IT team based in Tembisa . • Develop, test, and deploy efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code for various applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Write clear, concise, and well-documented code, participating actively in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical challenges, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new software systems and enhancements to existing ones.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance development processes and product offerings.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Python programming.
• Demonstrated experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
