Salary: £25,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
- 4+ years of experience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, routing, queues, and integrations.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including development of AWS Lambda functions.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, and Cloud Watch.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
- Strong knowledge of DynamoDB schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing and supporting cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering and business teams.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience converting AWS CDK or Cloud Formation templates into Terraform.
- Experience with IBM ODM.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and enterprise integrations.
- Design and optimize DynamoDB schemas, indexes, and data access patterns for scalable applications.
- Develop and maintain Python-based AWS Lambda functions for business logic and automation.
- Modify, enhance, and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic.
- Collaborate with UI development teams to translate business requirements into backend services and APIs.
- Work directly with Amazon Professional Services on Amazon Connect implementation and enhancement initiatives.
- Design and support event-driven architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.
- Support and optimize data flows across AWS services and integrated systems.
- Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-native solutions.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure issues across AWS environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.
- Participate in production support activities and occasional after-hours deployments when required.
