We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of high-quality, foundational large language models through supervised fine tuning and reinforcement learning from human feedback tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage teams of 20+ Python, JavaScript, Java, and other language developers to execute technical tasks effectively.
Collaborate closely with researcher clients to ensure satisfaction with delivered work.
Maintain rigorous review processes to ensure the highest quality of datasets.
Oversee project transitions from initiation to stable states, taking full responsibility for delivery.
Identify and implement measures to enhance the quality of code within the team.
Required Skills &

Qualifications:

8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an engineering management role.
Proven experience managing large technical teams in a delivery-oriented role.

Experience with Python or Java and JavaScript.
Demonstrated ability to engage in hands-on technical work, identifying and resolving quality issues.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a focus on motivating teams.
