About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative and experienced Remote Automotive Software Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation vehicle software. This role involves designing, developing, and testing software solutions for automotive systems, including infotainment, ADAS, powertrain control, and connectivity features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers, in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

• Design, develop, and implement software components for automotive embedded systems using C/C++ and other relevant languages.
• Develop and maintain software for vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Collaborate with system engineers to define software requirements and architecture.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of software modules.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on embedded systems development.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and standards.
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and debugging tools.
