Remote Senior Software Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Software Architect to design and guide the development of our cutting-edge technology platforms. This role is pivotal in defining the technical vision, establishing architectural standards, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our software solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering groups across various time zones.

• Design and document robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures for new and existing applications.
• Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for software development and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our technology stack.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of all deployed systems through architectural reviews and proactive measures.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a software architecture role.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud-native design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#) and database technologies (SQL, No

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence technical direction.
