Senior Frontend Engineer - React Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer with a specialization in React to join their fully remote engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-quality user interfaces for complex web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences. • Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated user interfaces using React.js and related libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Translate complex UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and accessible code.
• Optimize frontend performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and integrate with RESTful APIs.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor junior frontend developers, and contribute to establishing frontend best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth and stable user experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+years of professional experience in frontend development, with a deep focus on React.js .
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, including preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and version control systems like Git .
