About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to enhance their user-facing applications. This hybrid role is based in Rustenburg, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for translating complex design concepts into intuitive and responsive user interfaces, working closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, a deep understanding of modern frontend frameworks, and a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
You will play a key role in shaping the user journey and driving the technical direction of our client's frontend development efforts.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using React and Type Script.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, participating actively in code reviews.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
- Identify and resolve UI/UX issues and bugs promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a strong command of React and Type Script.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
