About the Role
Our client is looking for aspiring Apprentice Web Developers to join their dynamic, fully remote team, based out of Centurion . This apprenticeship is designed to nurture talent and provide comprehensive training in modern web development technologies. You will work on real-world projects, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of engaging and functional websites and applications under the guidance of senior developers.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about coding and technology, eager to build a strong foundation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape, and to thrive in a collaborative, remote-first work environment.
- Assist in developing and implementing user-facing features using front-end technologies such as HTML , CSS , and JavaScript .
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to integrate server-side logic and APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Assist in testing and debugging web applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Contribute to documentation of code and development processes.
- Engage in ongoing learning and training to stay updated with emerging web technologies.
- A demonstrable passion for web development and a portfolio of personal projects (even if basic).
- Basic understanding of HTML , CSS , and ideally some exposure to JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in a remote team setting.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
